Amy Unland began her career in St. Louis, where her unique combination of dark beats and gritty basslines quickly earned her gigs and residencies at clubs and lounges throughout the United States. Her ability to energize dance floors has provided opportunities to perform alongside notable artists such as Technasia, Maya Jane Coles, Anthony Attalla, Gene Farris, Max Chapman, Crystal Method, CamelPhat, Nic Fanciulli, and many others. She has also performed at various festivals, including Ultra Music Festival, Mamby on the Beach, and Riverwest Festival.

In 2007, she relocated to Los Angeles, where she performed at numerous venues throughout the West Coast and began producing her own original tracks and remixes.  In 2010, her passion for house music led her to move to Chicago, the genre's birthplace.  During her time in Chicago, she has played and held residencies at some of the city’s premier venues, including Spybar, The Mid, Primary, and Radius. Additionally, she has curated many of her own events, including her current ongoing weekly gathering at Esmeralda’s Lounge, ‘Whole Self Sundays.’ In 2014, she teamed up with DJs Romasoul and LeSprite to establish the all-female DJ collective, "Dirty Dish."

When not in the booth, she often spends her time in the studio focusing on music production. She has released original tracks and remixes under various labels, including Tulipa Recordings, Bottomless, Evoked Records, Worldwide Exclusive Records, and Counterfeit Fun. Her original track, "Climbing Mountains," notably topped the Beatport Minimal Deeptech release chart for ten consecutive days. In addition to producing music, Amy hosted a thirty-seven-episode podcast named "Reboot," featuring an hour-long set from both herself and a guest DJ, all recorded live at Chicago venues and beyond.
